Quality Control

We are measured by the results of our work, so the effectiveness of everything we do – from planning and estimates, through to production and fulfilment - is of the upmost importance to us.

Each job has a documented quality control procedure, which lays down the process for its successful completion. All Nova Direct Mail employees are required to understand and follow the procedure for each activity they are qualified to undertake. We don’t believe in leaving things to chance.

It’s why we were one of the first production facilities to be awarded the Quality Standard for Mail Production (QMP). This accreditation was launched in 2001 in response to an industry-wide programme of research and consultation. It is the quality mark for mailing houses, which supply enclosing and despatch services for direct mail.

Nova Direct Mail is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. As part of this act we are obliged to ensure that our customers are aware that in certain circumstances their databases are screened against the MPS register to ensure no law is broken relating to unsolicited direct mail. All members of staff have undertaken to abide by the rules of the act and maintain confidentiality at all times.

We are also a founder member of the ‘Trucost’ Environmental Scheme whereby companies are assessed for their environmental production and purchasing policies. Nova Direct Mail strives to maintain environmentally friendly levels at all times.
