Power up your database!

Our sophisticated marketing data systems ensure your marketing resources are more effective by only mailing the right individuals by title. This comes about by cleaning, sorting and refreshing our customer’s databases, and then adding new prospect data with the same criteria. Through this energising process Nova Direct ‘power-up your database’, making your promotions a more effective marketing tool.

All systems are managed by our knowledgeable and skilled staff, whose experience in interpreting the results can make an inspired difference.  Below are brief descriptions of each stage we progress your data through to ensure your marketing is as targeted as possible.

Stage 1 – Data Cleansing

This is taking an initial review of your database to identify how many of your past customers are still contactable.  We screen your data against 450,000,000 records to ensure you only distribute material that will be received by the intended customers. This includes merging duplicate records, people who have moved, deceased prospects or those on a preference list. We also then validate all addresses against a central address list and update where required (PAF).

Stage 2 – Data Profiling

Using your cleansed database Nova take a snapshot of your typical customers and identify some key demographics. This process will compare your unique customer list against the national average. This will highlight important characteristics of your customers and where to look to win new business.

Profiling your data is the first step in developing a strategic marketing campaign.

Stage 3 – Adding to your Prospect Lists

Nova Direct generate and supply approved and highly targeted marketing data lists. We obtain fresh, quality and tailor-made direct marketing mailing lists to ensure high response rates.

Lists can include numerous contact fields from name and address, to telephone and fax number or company names including job titles. We can also provide fields with demographic information such as income, household types and family demographics. For business contacts we can supply turnover, industry type and even number of employees!

Stage 4 – Data Capture

We capture data from forms, questionnaires or coupons to add into a database ready for processing or return to the customer. This data can also be used to identify prospective clients and improve engagement with your existing customers, personalising messages and communications using the medium that is most appealing to your individual clients.

Stage 5 – Data Warehousing

We store and maintain customer databases within a secure on-site environment.

Nova Direct is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. As part of this act we are obliged to ensure that our customers are aware that in certain circumstances their databases are screened against the MPS register to ensure no law is broken relating to unsolicited direct mail. All members of staff have undertaken to abide by the rules of the act and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Software Development

Writing and developing of bespoke programmes to enable us to create an interface with any CRM system. This will then provide bespoke printing solutions such as financial statements, daily fulfilment and other essential communications.  We have IT solutions which can be set up to distribute product as part of a special, one-time project or as part of an on-going service through mechanisms of your own e-commerce platforms or widely used front end such as Amazon and Ebay.  We can also provide you with a customised eStore or web portal to simplify the order fulfilment process.
